Withholding tax Payment(clearing)

Hi . 

I have question about withholding tax payment . 

I know how calculate and deduction withholding tax , but how could I clearing it ? 

Is there any withholding tax clearing process ? 

How Could I mange it for authority payment ? 

How is that done and how we keep track of what has not yet settled.


RDP Cache and changes does not apply

when doing changes in Data provider report class, the report caches and data in the report are the same even change the code or comment it. after search found these steps to solve this issue and be solved

1. Take the XPO of SSRS report related objects.
2. Delete the Objects from AOT.
3. Delete the SSRS report from Dynamics AX report folder.
4. Restart the AX Service.
5. Restart the report service configuration manager.
6. Import the XPO of SSRS report.
7. Deploy the reports.
any another general solution as this issue repeated in many reports ??

Creating a Production "Report As Finished journal", getting error as "Inventory transactions are not supported for this posting"

If I provide GoodQty value as null, it has been being posting successfully but when I provide value to it, getting an error as "Inventory transactions are not supported for this posting" can somebody help me?

Perform an fixed asset acquisition adjustment

Dear, 

I am using D365O and would need to adjust fixed asset acquisition after posting the fixed asset acquisition journal, 

But after posting FA Acquistion journal the proposal option in action pane is disabled. How to adjust it after posting? Please help me. Thanks.

Project Budget - Fixed Price Project - The Project Budget button is grayed out

Hi,

I am working in test environment to see how fixed price projects work. I have created a project, defined a cost template and periods. I have entered some purchase orders and on account invoices and I have also been able to enter an original budget for a project category and revise the budget. I have been able to enter estimates and recognize revenue based on completion progress.

Now I want to go back and check the budget and revise it. However the "Project Budget" button is grayed out and I am not sure why it is happening. Nothing is changed. The only things I tried was:

1- I tried to see if the project contract can be changed after I have transactions. The system stopped me from changing indicating that there are transactions.

2- Once I was doing the estimates I worked on a scenario that estimate got to 100% and I wanted to see if it can be lowered to manage the changes to a fixed price contract. I was able to lower the completion percentage and the system correctly accrued the revenue. 

Will these tests impact the project button to be grayed out? Why is that project button is not active?

Abnormal action in my environment

Hello everybody,

At the begin will describe the structure of my environment, it consists of two DB Machine in always on availability group and has two  AOS on two different machines one of them service business logic for clients and the other work as a batch server, also this machine host Reporting Service like shown in the image below. 

Today's there are abnormal problem can't understand it, any Temp table  which is used by any RDP class can not view it's data when changing its type to regular, wanna to view the data for tracing purpose because most of the  reports that use them do not get correct data almost it shown cashed data because of I comment insert code in RDP class and the report still shown data.

We already did some work around to solve this problem like performing full CIL Compile, sync the Data Dictionary, Restart AOS service, and RS service but didn't solve the problem.

Eventually, a friend told me to export XPO of report project and delete all of the project components and delete the SSRS Report from Report folder in RS Manager and restart AOS and RS services then import the project and deploy the report again. the report displays correct data after this cycle for two days but can't view Temp table content in the regular mood and now the report does not show correct data again, can't understand where's the problem or how to solve it.

 Note all of these reports worked fine for a period.

Inventory Issue with AX 2012 R3

Dear Team,

   We are facing an issue regarding the inventory and it is given below:

1). We have purchased some items from a vendor through purchase order and the product receipt is done in 2016, where as the invoice is done in 2017.

2). These materials are used in production and it is utilized in 2016.

3). In the costing sheet of the production, the cost for the raw materials are not updated.

4). Also in the Inventory value report the total cost for the raw materials is displayed with the amount which is created in the PO. But the quantity is deducted and the average cost is displayed based on this.

    Kindly need to know how can we move the value from Raw material to finished goods without changing the quantity. Expecting your solution asap.

How can I disable the edit after delivered the invoice.

So far now, after delivered the Invoice anyone can change the Unit Price & Net Price until the invoice has been invoiced by the accounts team  but can’t able to change the quantity. But I need to stop / disabled everything (Quantity, Unit Price & Net Price) after the Invoice has been delivered.

Security setup - Fixed asset disposal report

I am doing security setup for my project.

Path: Fixed asset > Reports > Base Data > Movement > Fixed asset disposals

When some users click on the report and try to print the report after click [OK] button, error pops out. 

The security role should be missing for some privileges / some tables for access right. 

I have try to assign some tables into the privilege since the info-log states that user cannot find the fixed asset disposal table. 

Then assign this privilege back to the role. 

Please advise for this issue. 

How to get Denomination with Qty and Total in POS?

Security Issue: User doesn't see menu item

Hi All

after finishing report and added it to menu item 

then follow security steps -> entry Point -> Privilege -> Duties -> Roles -> assign Role for the user

but when i open the user that should see the menu item 

it not appear

Can any one help me in this issue?

GL Advanced Rules & Advanced Rule Structures in 365

I need an unusual combination of posting rules for income statement accounts.  My client wants 365 to allow posting based on one the following financial dimension rules:

  1. Cost center must be blank if store is populated. Then the required dimensions are main account, store, business stream (a custom fin dim). 
  2. Store must be blank if cost center is populated. Then the required dimensions are account, cost center, business stream. 
  3. Cost center and store must be blank if business stream 30 is populated. Then the required dimensions are account, business stream. 

 I have not found a way to do this that works.  I have tried:

  1. Creating three advanced rules which have the logic in the rule itself and not an advanced rule structure.  I did not attach any advanced rule structure here.  
    (1A) This did not work since 365 combined all the logic in the rules and allowed me to post to all fin dims at the same time, which is forbidden according to the requirements.  
    (1B) This also does not work because allowing blanks is not supported in the rule itself.
  2. Creating an advanced rule that is blank and then attaching a single advanced rule structure which contain the three combinations of the rules above.  
    (2A) 365 does not allow creating an advanced rule structure in this way since it sees the other financial dimensions with an * and complains that they are overlapping.
  3. Creating three advanced rules that are blank and then attaching a single advanced rule structure to each rule.
    (3A) I tried in multiple combinations setting store and/or cost center to allow blanks, value = 0 and/or value < 1 in an attempt to create my own disallow feature since 365 itself does not natively support disallowing a fin dim in this setting.  In this situation 365 accepts my entry but then throws a cryptic hard error when creating a journal.
    (3B) 365 combines all these structures in to a single set of logic which then disallows posting to either store or cost center.  The values are not available in the drop down.  

Any advice would be appreciated.
