After the upgrade of Ax from 2009 to 2012 R3, EDTs were created using EDT Relation Migration tool. However, some EDTs were created with blank values. I wish to identify such EDTs and delete the relations which are blank using X++ code. Doing that manually will require a lot of effort.
If it is possible at Model Store, I am open for those suggestions too.

We released work to the warehouse and the warehouse worker sees that a box has 20 items instead of 15 in the transfer order/ scanner. He adjusts the overdelivery on the load to 100% and tries to use over pick for 20 items instead of 15. This does not work. The only way to have it working is to cancel the work and create a new wave for it. Is there a more efficient way for over pick for the warehouse workers instead of cancelling the work, adjusting overpick and creating a wave again?

I recall that in AX2009 and previous versions there was a license enforcement done at Product level (although not for BC connections), but I can't seem to experience this in AX2012.
Is there a way to avoid more connections when we reach the maximum number of licensed users, just to be sure we are 100% compliant at any time ?

Hi,
I am using AX 2012 R3 system.
I have used FIFO costing method for all raw materials and Finished products.
I have used formula and batch order to run Production process, in which i am getting the difference in cost amount between Estimated and Realised cost amount.
I have used 3 raw materials and i have used totals 3 BOM's (2 sub bom's and 1 main bom)
I have used subcontracting process for 2 service items in the BOM/Formula configuration.
I have used Currency Exchange rate as 1 Euro = 1.10 USD.
Actually my requirement is to get both the actual and estimated cost amount are same.
I want to know why i am getting the difference between Estimated and realised cost amount in FIFO costing method.

What exactly are extensions? I see that when I extend an object lets say : SalesTable.
A new object gets created in my current model called SalesTable.Extension.
Now- how is an extension different from a duplicate object? Let's say on SalesTable, I do right click and duplicate and rename that object. Is the extension still connected to the original object?

How do I add the extended version in my form datasource? The table SalesTable.Extension does not show up in the list of tables when I add datasource.
Also, if I have multiple extensions of SalesTable, how do I ensure which version is being used?

We have modified logic of inbuilt demand forecasting as per client requirements. We are taking some parameters and creating lines with some modifications and same forecasting we are displaying on form.
Now my code is working properly for GSBI company but when I do same process for USMF lines are not getting populated on form although they are created at table level.
One more thing I have observed for GSBI company one column Active is coming true by default but for USMF it is not coming true. We made it true from backend still record is not getting populated in that form.
Any inputs will be helpful.

I modify the CartWorkflowHelper.cs and add some validation that we need. Everything is working as we expected. But can't find how to add a new exception. If use a normal exception the Dialog in the MPOS will be generic. If we use another existing exception and add a message, it only display whatever is in the json file from that type of exception.
Is there a way to add new CommerceRunTime Exceptions en the SDK?

How do you manage to do model deployments in 2012 when moving code from TEST to STAGING when there are multiple projects in multiple states? Eg. during a large scale implementation.
eg. Client has DEV, TEST, STAGING, and PROD environments.
Client dev exported project A and project B from DEV to TEST via XPO.
In TEST, Project A has been validated by the SME, project B has yet to be tested or had an issue.
Client wants to move project A to PROD.
So project A and B are in the same model in TEST. How do you move project A to STAGING without moving project B?
Are devs required to create a separate model for each customization they do? Even if that's true, aren't objects only assigned to one model? What if two projects modify the same object? This has always seemed crazy when there's multiple xpos touching multiple objects that frequently overlap.
Is there even any risk to doing XPO deployments to STAGING if you're doing modelstore deployments to PROD? All of the existing element IDs should stay intact and any new element IDs will not conflict with prod, unless I'm missing something?
Model deployments seem fine for ISV solutions and whatnot, but I've never been able to figure out how they fit into the standard end-user implementation and support scenarios...

While looking at my C.A.R. (customer aging report) I'm noticing some invoices are falling in the wrong time slots.. For instance I had a due date of 5/30 and a balance as of date of 8/31 which is a difference of 93 days yet this invoice is falling in the 61-90 day bucket.
I've looked in the AOT at the CustTrans table and these dates match up but I cant figure out why this is happening! Any ideas?
My time line intervals are as follows 1-30 days, 31-60 days, 61-90 days and 91+ days
